Veninga Customs was founded in response to a clear gap in the customs advisory market. The field is broadly divided into two types of service providers: On one side are consultants with a strong operational background, who often lack the academic training and experience in international tax & legal environments to act as strategic partners for high-end clients. On the other side are Big Four and Big Law firms, whose customs advice is typically reserved for their own client base, limiting opportunities for collaboration.

Neither option works for international service providers who need high-quality, independent customs expertise. Veninga Customs was set up to offer exactly that: focused, strategic advice on EU customs and international trade.

We operate as a boutique firm: independent, specialised, and built for collaboration. Our work is grounded in legal precision and shaped by practical experience. We support law firms, tax advisors, and logistics service providers who value clarity, reliability, and discretion.

Founder Kenneth Veninga combines academic legal training with experience at a Big Four firm and a strong track record of in-house assignments. He understands both the regulatory detail and the expectations of international clients.
